What is the course about?
This part-time introductory art and design course invites you to explore a variety of materials and methods across multiple creative disciplines. You’ll develop skills in drawing, painting, mixed media, and printing through hands-on experimentation.

What will I learn?
You will be introduced to a wide range of materials, processes, and techniques including drawing, painting, mixed media, and printing. You will produce a series of artworks to take away with you each session.
What will the course lead on to?
On completion of this course, you may be interested in progressing onto our Level 1 Creative Craft Art and Design course, which is the perfect follow on from this short course.

Are there any additional costs associated with the course?
The college will provide the basic art materials required for this course. If you wish to work on surfaces other than paper, such as canvas or canvas board etc., then you will be required to purchase and bring these with you. However, this is not essential.
