As a performing arts student, you will have plenty of opportunity to enhance your industry knowledge by visiting local and national dance studios. Furthermore, you will be able to see the professionals in action in theatre productions and live music showcases at local theatres. Past students have even toured the West End on a thrilling residential trip to London.

Meet our students

Megan Clarke

Following her time at Cardinal Newman Catholic High School, Megan Clarke was keen to find a performing arts course that bridged the gap between a qualification and a career. As soon as she started on the Level 3 Acting and Musical Theatre course, she knew she was at the right college, where students are treated as industry professionals.

“This performing arts course has helped me in every way and I have had experiences I never dreamed a college could provide, from bespoke audition workshops with Liverpool Empire to movement masterclasses with Disney! I feel like I am leaving college as a triple-threat with acting, singing and dancing under my belt.”

Rosie Rigby

Rosie Rigby

Performing Arts Tutor Rosie Rigby has taught at the college for three years and specialises in acting and singing. Rosie graduated from East 15 Acting School with honours before going on to work with many prominent London theatre companies, including The National Theatre and Solomon Theatre Company. Rosie loves sharing her experience with her students and encouraging them to explore their passion for performing arts.

Dance tutor Erin Taylor began her performing arts journey at Bird College, where she studied Dance and Musical Theatre. During her training, she developed a strong passion for teaching and inspiring others, which led her to pursue a career in education.

Erin enjoys helping students develop their skills and achieve their full potential. She says: “I love developing students’ abilities and seeing the progress they make.”

Erin brings real-world industry experience into the classroom, offering students exciting performance opportunities, strong professional links, and access to industry-standard equipment. The course provides a supportive environment for students to grow as performers and prepare for the next stage in their careers.
