Warrington & Vale Royal College is committed to supporting pupils to make informed decisions about a future that is right for them. By providing quality information, advice and guidance throughout Key Stage 3, 4 and beyond, we aim to ensure that pupils have the opportunity to learn about all post-16 options and future career possibilities, whilst assisting schools to meet their Gatsby Benchmarks, and comply with Provider Access Legislation.
All local secondary schools are automatically enrolled onto our Secondary & Further Education Partnership Programme, benefitting from a diverse package of activities, flexible to suit the priorities of their curriculum and interests of pupils.

An initiative that aims to link our expert tutors with secondary school teachers to:
We will connect you with a dedicated tutor from a relevant department, for example, a Design & Technology Teacher linked with one of our Construction Tutors. Careers Leads and Advisors can also join up with our award-winning Careers Team.
Our committed School Engagement Team support a wide range of school events and workshops to support post-16 decision-making, including apprenticeships workshops, mock interviews and application drop-ins. To give pupils a taste of college life we offer Taster Days, College Experience Evenings, Discover Days and Open Evenings.
We also have a dedicated Transition Team who work closely with all schools, in particular special schools, to support new students through the admissions process. Where appropriate, our Transition Team attend Education Health & Care Plan annual reviews and arrange tailored transition activities to support pupils' move to college.
