What is the course about?
This exciting new course will introduce you to the joys of landscape painting, helping you to develop the skills and techniques to develop artworks you are proud to Take home with you!

This exciting new course will help you develop a wide range of skills and techniques needed to successfully capture landscapes through painting.
What will I learn?
Through a combination of demonstrations and one to one support, you will learn all about how to create a successful composition, layering of paint, capturing foreground, middle ground and background, capturing skies and clouds, lighting effects, atmosphere and mood.
What will the course lead on to?
The course will lead onto Next Steps in Landscape Painting.
Are there any links with industry and university?
The techniques shown to you are in line with those used by professional practicing artists. You will be advised on presentation and mounting techniques.
What support is available?
One to one support, technical demonstrations, small group peer interaction.

An interest in landscape painting using acrylics and a willingness to give it a go!

Are there any additional costs associated with the course?
You will need to bring with you a range of acrylic paint brushes, a set of acrylic paint tubes, palette, water jar and a support to work on (A2/13 Canvas/ board/ or Canvas Board recommended).
