The 2 day Plumbing Renewables Awareness Course is designed to introduce students to the growing world of renewable plumbing and heating technologies and green skills. The part time course provides an overview of key renewable heating systems including Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP).
This adult course is ideal for individuals already working within the plumbing and heating industry who want to gain awareness and understanding of renewable technologies and explore future opportunities within the green energy sector. While no formal qualification is achieved, the course acts as a valuable stepping stone towards industry-recognised certified qualifications in the future.

Are there any additional costs associated with the course?
There may be some additional costs associated with the course, such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). If required, recommended learning materials will be provided for the duration of the course, but will not be owned by students and must be returned to the college on completion of the course.
Any additional costs will be discussed before enrolment at interview.
