Why should I choose the course?

You should choose this adult electrical course if you are a qualified electrician looking to develop your skills in inspection, testing, and certification, particularly for new installations. It supports continuing professional development (CPD) and enhances your technical competence.

This electrical qualification is highly regarded within the industry and is often required for electricians progressing into inspection and testing roles, so completion helps to improve employability and career prospects.

What will I learn?

You will learn how to:

  • Understand the requirements for initial verification
  • Apply health and safety procedures, including safe isolation
  • Carry out inspection of electrical installations
  • Perform electrical testing procedures
  • Interpret and verify test results for compliance
  • Complete certification and documentation in line with regulations.

You will undertake an online exam and a practical assessment.
