What is the course about?

The 2 day Electrical Renewables Awareness Course is designed to introduce students to the growing world of renewable electrical technologies and green skills. The part time adult course provides an overview of key renewable systems including Solar PV, Energy Storage Systems (Battery Storage), and Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging installations.

This course is ideal for individuals already working within the electrical industry who want to gain awareness and understanding of renewable technologies and explore future opportunities within the green energy sector. While no formal qualification is achieved, the adult course acts as a valuable stepping stone towards industry-recognised certified qualifications in the future.

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) if required
  • If required, recommended learning materials will be provided for the duration of the course but will not be owned by the student and must be returned to the college on completion of the course.
