While no formal qualification is achieved, the adult course acts as a valuable stepping stone towards industry-recognised certified qualifications in the future.

There may be some additional costs associated with the course, such as:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) if required
- If required, recommended learning materials will be provided for the duration of the course but will not be owned by the student and must be returned to the college on completion of the course.
