What is the course about?
This part-time introductory art and design course invites you to explore the essentials of watercolour painting through creative, hands-on experimentation.

Our well-established art department is led by experienced tutors who offer supportive teaching in a friendly and welcoming environment. Whether you’re completely new to watercolour or looking to deepen your existing knowledge, you’ll find inspiration and encouragement here.
What will I learn?
You will be introduced to the basics of watercolour painting techniques and processes, gaining practical experience with each session. You’ll create artwork to take home, building confidence and skill as you go.
What will the course lead on to?
Upon completing this course, you may wish to continue your creative development by exploring more of our introductory or next step courses. It also provides an excellent foundation for progressing onto our Level 1 Creative Craft Art & Design course, which is the perfect follow-on from this short course.
What support is available?
We always put learning at the centre of all we do. We have dedicated and passionate teaching staff who are practicing artists in their own right. All teaching staff bring a wealth of both industry and educational experience to the department, ensuring that you will have an excellent learning experience with us. We have fully equipped and spacious studios and a dedicated art technician to further support you during your time with us.
