Meet Georgia, Access to HE: Health Professionals student with an offer to study at the University of Salford in September

Meet Georgia Everett. Georgia, who currently works in the health and social care sector caring for adults, has always been interested in caring for children and so she decided to enrol on our Access to HE – Health & Social Care (Health Professionals) course. Since then, Georgia has gone on to achieve an offer to study Children and Young Peoples Nursing at the University of Salford starting in September, meaning she is one step closer to this dream becoming a reality.

Georgia Everett

Georgia chose to study her Access to HE course at Warrington & Vale Royal College as it is close to home and tutorials fit well around her busy family life and commitments. She tells us that her tutors are very knowledgeable and explain things in detail. Georgia also enjoys studying with other students that share her passion for the subject and feels that the topics taught on this course are great steppingstones to what she will learn at the University of Salford.

In the future, Georgia hopes to become an oncology nurse. She says: “This course has taught me the science behind the body and also social sciences which will definitely help me towards my career.” Good luck, Georgia!
