Meet Aimee-Louise, Maths Functional Skills student taking inspiring steps to reach her dream career as a Lab Tech

Meet Aimee-Louise, a dedicated student who is going from strength to strength in her Maths Functional Skills course at Warrington & Vale Royal College.

Aimee Louise Functional Skills

With big dreams of becoming a laboratory technician, Aimee-Louise enrolled on the course to build a strong foundation in maths before progressing onto GCSE level.

Aimee-Louise has embraced the subject with enthusiasm, particularly enjoying topics such as fractions and calculating the area and perimeter of shapes. Her positive attitude and commitment to learning are clear to see.

Speaking about her experience, Aimee-Louise said: “I feel really supported by my tutors. There’s never a problem too big or too small! I also love meeting new people in my classes - I’ve really enjoyed getting to know everyone!”

Her motivation, combined with the support she’s received from her tutors and peers, is helping her take confident steps toward her future career. We have no doubt that Aimee-Louise will go far on her journey to becoming a laboratory technician.
