If so, look no further than this Level 3 Electrical Installation course, which will help you to develop a range of skills relevant to this industry whilst expanding on your scientific and mathematical understanding of electrical installation.

This course combines both theory and practical work knowledge and will provide you with a good level of skills and knowledge in this area. You will be taught by expert tutors in a high-quality learning environment, providing you with the support you need to be successful in this industry.

Why should I choose the course?

The electrical installation industry is currently thriving, with opportunities to earn high salaries and even travel abroad. With electricians generally earning the most out of all the trades, this is a very lucrative field to enter. As your career progresses, you could move into design engineering, project management, consultancy work, or training. You could even set up your own business and become your own boss! This course builds upon your previous knowledge and helps prepare you to enter the electrical installation industry.

What will I learn?

This fascinating and highly practical course will allow you to develop craft and hand-skills to prepare for a career in the electrical installation industry. You will study in fully kitted-out workshops with the latest technology and equipment, to ensure you are up to date with the current industry. You will study a range of topics such as health and safety, principles of electrical science, practical inspection and testing, electrical knowledge and practical wiring installation. You will also learn useful employability skills to ensure you have the best chances of success once your course is completed.

Throughout the course you will be assessed on the various units by online exams plus written and practical assessments.

You will also have the opportunity to undertake work placements, which could lead to amazing opportunities. All students will complete a one-week work placement for every year of their course. Many of our previous students have gone above and beyond to complete additional voluntary work. This has even led to past students securing apprenticeship and part-time work opportunities.

What will the course lead on to?

A career in the electrical industry will open up a world of opportunities, as the industry has an abundance of jobs available for newly trained electricians. As your career progresses, you could move into design engineering, project management, consultancy work, or training. You could even become self-employed and be your own boss. After successfully completing this course, you could progress onto the City & Guilds 2391 Level 3 Inspection and Testing course or complete the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations course.
