Meet Cezary, Access to HE: Health Professionals with an offer to study at Edge Hill University in September

Meet Cezary Strzelbicki. Cezary, who currently works as an emergency medical technician for the ambulance service, wants to progress on to the role of a paramedic and so he enrolled on to our Access to HE: Health & Social Care (Health Professionals) course. Since then, he has gone on to achieve an offer to study Paramedic Practice at Edge Hill University and is now one step closer to achieving this goal.

Cezary Strzelbicki

Cezary chose to study his Access to HE course at Warrington & Vale Royal College, despite not living nearby, as he had heard lots of great things from others and online. Working full-time, it is not always easy to find the time to study outside of tutorials but Cezary tells us he receives lots of support from the college and is able to manage this.

Since beginning the course, Cezary’s written ability has improved as has his study skills such as being able to research independently, referencing, writing essays and so much more. He has nothing but great things to say about his tutors who are incredibly helpful. Cezary had no previous academic experience but thanks to the help of the tutors and his peers he now feels ready for his next step: university.

In the future, once Cezary has finished his degree, he hopes to become a critical care paramedic. Best of luck for the future, Cezary!
