Balancing study alongside other commitments was important, and Lindsey found the course fitted around her life well. She values the supportive learning environment, describing the tutor as encouraging and knowledgeable, and the group as friendly and welcoming. This sense of support has helped her feel confident and motivated throughout the course.
Since starting this short adult course, Lindsey has learned a great deal about writing techniques and craft, giving her a clearer understanding of how to develop her work. The part-time course is playing an important role in helping her progress towards her goal of finishing her own book and continuing her writing journey.
Reflecting on her experience, Lindsey says: “I’ve learned so much about writing and feel really supported as I work toward finishing my book.”
