Kath has always been passionate about people and knew she wanted to become a counsellor. At 50, she finally decided to take the step she had been dreaming about and return to learning. After a Google search, she found our Level 2 Certificate Counselling Skills course. Upon completing this course, Kath progressed to the Level 3 Certificate and is now studying our Level 4 Therapeutic Counselling Diploma. She has fully committed to a career that aligns with her values.
While she continues to work in her family business, life-changing experiences have encouraged her to rethink her future and follow a passion, focused on supporting others. She now hopes to create a holistic wellbeing business that combines counselling with other therapeutic approaches. Studying at the college has been an important step towards that goal.
Reflecting on her journey, Kath says: “I have learnt so much about myself, my personal ability, and my self-belief.”
