What is the course about?
This course introduces the fundamentals of website creation using online tools such as Google Sites. You'll learn how to design and build websites with ease, even if you're new to web development.

You’ll be able to build a variety of websites using proven techniques taught throughout the course.
What will I learn?
The course will help unlock your creativity and teach you how to develop your own online content to share with others.
You will learn how to:
• Plan and structure your website, with strategies to develop it further over time.
• Use online web authoring tools to build and manage your site.
• Link and embed reusable elements to enhance functionality.
• Incorporate images effectively, considering your audience and the range of devices your site will be viewed on.
• Identify the best hosting solutions for your content.
• Understand the benefits of owning your own domain name, including a professional web address and matching email.
Your tutor will carry out informal assessments, and you’ll also reflect on your progress each week through self-assessment.
