What is the course about?

Learning the requisites of photography and developing further your own style.

Why should I choose the course?

If you own any type of camera, from smartphone to DSLR, have some prior knowledge of digital photography, and want to improve on your knowledge to get the best out of your camera and photographs, this course is perfect for you. This course expands upon previous Digital photography courses such as “Digital Photography: Editing” but is intended for those who want to take it further and develop new skills as well as a portfolio of their own.

What will I learn?

The course will show you the possibility of your creativity and how to fashion your own portfolio.

You will learn:

• Take photographs in different scenarios and advanced enhancement post-production techniques.
• Further manipulate and enhance your photographs using.
• Master colour and originality in photographs.
• Learn further ways to share and manage your growing collection of photographs.

You will be informally assessed by the tutor, and you will also self-assess your weekly progress.

What will the course lead on to?

On completion of this course, you may be offered progression onto another ACL course, such as “Get Started with Wix Website Design” etc.

We offer a wide variety of part-time adult courses to help you upskill, secure that promotion, even get to university, or just meet new friends, we will have something for you.

What support is available?

We have a team of staff dedicated to providing learning support if required, as well as a Welfare Team that is on hand to offer guidance, support and help when needed.
