What is the course about?

Advanced Digital Photography is the perfect next step for those who have completed our Introduction to and Next Steps Photography courses. On this course, you will learn the requisites of photography and developing your own style further.

Why should I choose the course?

If you own any type of camera, whether it’s a compact, DSLR, or mirrorless, and have some prior knowledge of digital photography, this course is ideal for taking your skills to the next level. Building on previous photography courses, it’s designed for those who want to deepen their understanding, get the most out of their camera, and develop a strong portfolio showcasing their personal style and creative growth.

What will I learn?

This course is designed to unlock your creative potential and guide you in developing a unique and professional photography portfolio.

You will learn how to:

  • Capture high-quality photographs in a range of scenarios using advanced post-production and enhancement techniques
  • Further manipulate and enhance your images with precision and creativity
  • Master the use of colour and develop originality in your photographic style
  • Explore effective ways to manage, showcase, and share your growing collection of work

You’ll be informally assessed by your tutor and will also track your progress each week through self-assessment.

What will the course lead on to?

On completion of this course, you could progress on to another non-accredited course.
