What will I learn?
Overall, the intent of the ILM Level 7 Executive Coaching and Mentoring course is to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel as executive coaches and mentors, making a positive impact on individuals, teams, and organisations.
The programme is made up of three core modules that enable participants to understand, develop and demonstrate knowledge and skills in executive coaching and mentoring.
- Understanding the principles and practice of effective coaching and mentoring at an executive or senior level.
- Undertaking coaching or mentoring at an executive or senior level.
- Reflecting on your ability to perform effectively as a coach or mentor at an executive or senior level.
This course is delivered over 15 classroom style sessions supported by three written assignments, which are:
- Understanding the context of coaching and mentoring in a strategic business environment
- Undertaking coaching or mentoring at a senior and strategic level
- Reflecting on your own ability to perform effectively as a coach or mentor practising at a senior level
You will be assessed through these written assignments for which you are required to include wider reading, theory and reflection on your coaching practice.
