What is the course about?
The course is the new CIPD qualification designed for anyone seeking to develop a career in HR. The course is also suitable if you are working either in learning and development or HR at the level of human resource advisor or manager and need to extend your knowledge and skills or take responsibility for implementing HR policies and strategies.
Why should I choose the course?
The CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate People Practice is a 30-week programme offered on campus or delivered via distance learning.
Distance Learning: the course is delivered via an initial Google Meets session to introduce each module, followed by a set of online resources and assignments for you to access and complete at a time that suits you. You will work to a set of submission deadlines to meet throughout the course. Offering materials remotely allows you to learn and work around your other work/family commitments.
On campus: The course is offered part-time with daytime or evening options available. You will need to attend one of the sessions per week. An additional one-hour tutorial is available and can be arranged with your tutor when needed.
You may be able to take part in some exciting events as part of your course. For instance, you may be able to experience a mock tribunal ran by Bramhalls Employment Law Solicitors, which will enable you to put your learning into context and see how it applies to the real world.

- 3CO01 Business, culture and change in context
- 3CO02 Principles of analytics
