What will I learn?

The course is designed for practitioners who assess knowledge and/or skills in vocationally related subject areas using the following assessment methods: assessments in simulated environments, skills tests, oral and written questions, assignments, projects, case studies and RPL.

This may take place in training workshops, classrooms, or other learning environments. The training is delivered across two units:

The qualification can be structured to meet your individual needs and will be assessed in your workplace, as well as at college. The course duration is between six and nine months, and is assessed by assignment and written questions. You will also be observed and assessed by your course tutor within your workplace. You will also undertake a professional discussion and complete a portfolio of evidence. You will also be required to attend one-to-one tutorials with your tutor.

After completing this course, you could progress on to the Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice award to expand your skills and knowledge further.
