Warrington & Vale Royal College showcases show-stopping pantomime

Warrington & Vale Royal College is once again celebrating the success of its annual Christmas performance, which this year was a show-stopping rendition of Robin Hood (Pantomime). Filled with laugh-out-loud moments, lively characters, and vibrant costumes, the production showcased the creativity, professionalism, and skill of students across Acting & Musical Theatre Dance pathways.

Performers from every corner of the department came together as a team, both on stage and behind the scenes. The result was a fun‑filled, polished performance that left audiences of all ages cheering.

The pantomime’s run welcomed pupils from local primary and high schools, along with members of the wider community, to lively matinee performances. Evening shows brought together parents, guardians, and friends, with each audience enthusiastically applauding students and celebrating their talent and hard work.

Kelly Broughton, Curriculum Manager for Performing Arts, praised the cast and crew, saying: “I am incredibly proud of every single student involved in this year’s pantomime. Their commitment, professionalism, and infectious energy shone through in every performance. Robin Hood was a true celebration of what our students do best.”

Sindy Richardson, Teaching & Learning Manager, added: “This production reflects the heart of our performing arts department: creativity, inclusivity, ambition, and a willingness to challenge expectations. Our students consistently rise to the occasion, and this year’s pantomime has been one of the strongest yet.”

The college is incredibly proud of all staff and students who contributed to the production. The success of Robin Hood highlights the vibrant and flourishing community within the performing arts department and reinforces the college’s commitment to providing high‑quality creative education.
