What will I learn?
Over the 6 weeks, you will develop skills and knowledge in the following areas:
- Refreshing and building on your existing motor vehicle maintenance skills
- Understanding what is inspected during an MOT test
- Identifying and replacing worn brake pads
- Performing puncture repairs
- Understanding tyre construction
- Removing and refitting tyres.
What will the course lead on to?
After completing this course, you’ll be well prepared to take the next step in your learning journey. You could choose to build on your skills with a follow-on course such as servicing. Alternatively, you may wish to progress to an accredited qualification in motor vehicle maintenance, opening the door to further training or potential employment in the industry.
