Amazing Alumni- Alexandra Rapiteanu

Level 3 Travel & Tourism student Alexandra Rapiteanu completed her course with us last year and has progressed onto the University of Manchester to study Modern Language and Business & Management (Chinese). Alexandra has always been passionate about other cultures and languages, and intends to start her own business and travel round the world. She says, "I have always been a girl with a lot of dreams!" In the future, Alexandra would like to become an inspiration to young people and give back to those in need. During her time at college, Alexandra's passion for travel was ignited, and she believes the experience she gained helped prepare her for university. The university course Alexandra has chosen allows her to gain valuable business skills as well as develop a strong knowledge of Chinese culture and language. Of her new course, she says, "I find it very complex and interesting. It gives me the necessary skills to build my own company and to gain management skills. I’m fascinated about Chinese language and I’m pleased that after two months I am able to read and speak Chinese." To students who intend to go to university, Alexandra advises, "Study hard and never stop dreaming about your future! Make your voice count, never let yourself down.
