Now, as we approach our final Open Evenings of the year, we invite all Year 11s who have not yet explored the possibility of their future with Warrington’s leading provider of technical education & skills training to register today!
Warrington campus will open its doors for the final Open Evening of the autumn term on Monday 9th November, from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. This will be followed by a dedicated SEND Open Evening on Wednesday 18th November, from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. During this quieter event, our experienced Learning Support Teams will be on hand alongside expert tutors to provide tailored advice and guidance, helping prospective students and their families feel confident and comfortable as they explore their next steps with the College.
If you are in Year 11 and have not yet attended one of our Open Evenings, here are four key reasons to register for our next event:
1 - Discover future careers
We believe in careers, not just courses. Every course at Warrington & Vale Royal College is designed with future opportunities in mind, informed by labour market information and shaped by employer needs. Alongside developing industry-relevant skills and knowledge, students gain valuable real-world experience that helps them stand out to employers and universities alike. Through our enhanced careers programme, WVRXtra+, we ensure every student is equipped with the confidence, experience and connections needed to succeed in their chosen future.
2 - Find a course you will love
When students love what they do, they thrive. College is about more than achieving a qualification; it's about discovering passions, developing talents and enjoying the journey along the way. Our expert tutors are not only experienced educators, but passionate industry specialists who can impart a wealth of knowledge about their dedicated sector. With almost 100 courses to choose from across a wide range of subjects, an Open Evening is the perfect opportunity to explore what excites and inspires you.
3 - Experience a place where students become
At Warrington & Vale Royal College, students develop far more than academic knowledge. They grow in confidence, gain independence, and build friendships to last a lifetime. Through WVRXtra, students can access an exciting range of opportunities beyond the classroom, from sports teams and cross-college competitions to enrichment activities such as British Sign Language, self-defence training, driving theory preparation and much more. It's all part of creating a college experience that helps students make the most of every opportunity.
4 - Feel in the loop
We know that choosing a post-16 pathway can be a family decision. That's why we work closely with parents and carers every step of the way. Many families tell us they value the support, communication, and opportunities available at the college, helping them feel confident that their young person is in safe hands. Our Open Evening is the perfect opportunity for families to ask questions, meet our staff and students, and gain the information they need to make an informed decision about the next stage of their child's education and future career.
Our Open Evenings are the perfect opportunity to experience our welcoming and inclusive college community first-hand. Explore our industry-standard facilities, meet our expert teaching staff, chat with current students, and discover how Warrington & Vale Royal College can help you take the first step towards a successful future.
