On GSCE results day, hundreds of year 11 students visited Warrington and Winsford campus to enrol on their chosen course and start their new chapter. Pupils from schools all across Warrington, Winsford, Cheshire and surrounding areas picked Warrington & Vale Royal College as their first-choice provider to continue their education. Schools included Beamont Collegiate Academy, Bridgewater High School, Irlam & Cadishead Academy, Great Sankey High School, Penketh High School and Padgate Academy, plus many others. Amongst our new cohort was Harley Portwood, former Birchwood Community High School pupil, who enrolled on Level 3 Creative Media Practice and Charlie Young, former pupil of Dean Trust Rose Bridge in Wigan, who is looking forward to starting her Level 3 Health & Social Care studies next week. Both students said they are really looking forward to starting their courses and meeting new people.

Renovations have been ongoing at Warrington campus this summer to ensure that the college’s cohort will benefit from the state-of-the-art facilities.

Warrington & Vale Royal College is still accepting applications for courses starting in September 2022, but hurry!
