Higher Apprenticeships

If full-time classroom-based study doesn't appeal to you, a Higher Apprenticeship could be the perfect option.

Combining academic learning with practical, on-the-job experience, Higher Apprenticeships allow you to earn while you learn. You'll work towards a recognised qualification while gaining valuable industry experience and building professional skills that employers are looking for.

Access to Higher Education

Access to Higher Education (HE) courses are designed for adults and students who want to progress to higher-level study but do not currently hold the qualifications required for university or higher education programmes.

These courses focus on specific subject areas and provide the knowledge, skills and qualifications needed to progress onto a higher-level course or undergraduate degree.

To enrol on an Access to HE course, you will normally need GCSE English and maths at grade 4/C or above. If you are missing one of these qualifications, you may need to complete the Level 2 Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care course alongside completing your GCSEs.

Successfully completing an Access to HE programme can open the door to university study or progression onto one of the college's higher education courses.
