Studying an apprenticeship with Warrington & Vale Royal College: Olivia Stanton

17-year-old Level 2 Hair Professionals Apprentice, Olivia Stanton, knew the apprenticeship route was for her after discovering early on in her school life that she much preferred hands-on, practical learning.
Olivia had always had a passion for the hair industry and knew from a young age she wanted a career in hairdressing. She began gaining work experience in a local hairdressing salon, from the age of 11, helping out however she could at weekends or school holidays. When she turned 14, she began working part time in the salon on Saturdays, beginning to develop some skills and building relationships with clients. With a range of experience already behind her, Olivia's route into the industry was clear, and she enrolled onto our Level 2 Hair Professionals Apprenticeship with Colin Williams Hairdressing in Latchford in order to start her career as a full-time hairdresser.
