Learning Support Officer (Learning Facilitator) (Hourly Paid)

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint part time Learning Facilitators at the Warrington Campus. We have varying part time hours available. This role is to help learners with additional learning needs develop independent learning skills and reach their potential in and outside the classroom. The post holders need to be pro-active, flexible and motivated to inspire learners to grow, achieve and develop.

As the successful candidate will be starting mid-way through the academic year, this post will be hourly paid from the agreed start date to mid July 2024. Subject to a successful probationary review the intention is for this post to become permanent from September 2024.

Suitable candidates should have 5 GCSEs grade 4 or above, including Maths and English, and a Level 3 qualification. It would be desirable that candidates hold, or be willing to work towards, relevant qualifications. Experience of team working, the ability to support students in a learning environment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS and Prohibition check.
