Lecturer in Maths
At Warrington & Vale Royal College, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Maths Lecturer to join our highly supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach GCSE Maths, Functional Skills and Adult Maths classes within a department that values creativity, collaboration and high expectations.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a teacher who is not only dedicated to outstanding classroom practice, but who also has the ambition and vision to contribute to the ongoing development of our curriculum structure, teaching approaches and learner experience.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive GCSE Maths lessons to students across a range of vocational pathways
- Teach Functional Skills Maths to both young people and adult learners
- Inspire and motivate learners to achieve their full potential and progress confidently into further study or employment
- Use innovative and adaptive teaching strategies to support progress, retention and achievement
- Contribute to the development of an ambitious and responsive Maths curriculum
- Support the continued growth and development of adult provision within the department
- Work collaboratively within a forward-thinking department committed to continuous improvement
- Promote the college ethos of inclusivity, aspiration, respect and learner success
