Warrington & Vale Royal College’s new link with the University of Chester will open a door into industry for HND Public Services students

Warrington & Vale Royal College is thrilled to confirm that all HND Public Services students will be offered direct entry on to the University of Chester’s Policing, Law and Investigation Level 6 top-up degree programme, subject to entry criteria.

The University of Chester will welcome applications from students who have successfully completed their HND Public Services course at the college to complete their top-up degree at its Warrington campus.

Students on the HNC and HND Public Services course explore a range of modules including mental health and wellbeing, terrorism and counterterrorism, crime reduction, psychology of behaviour, blue light collaboration, cyber security, aviation and maritime, youth offending, applied forensic psychology and more; fully preparing students to progress on to study the final year of a BA Hons degree.

For those students looking to pursue a fulfilling career in this field, this is a great chance to enhance their educational experience, meet like-minded peers and ultimately achieve an undergraduate degree, whilst studying close to home.”

Warrington & Vale Royal College look forward to seeing current students progress on to the BA Policing, Law and Investigation top-up degree programme at the University of Chester to continue their studies, and is welcoming new applicants to begin their HNC or HND in September.
