The bespoke training was delivered in the popular Warrington college’s Construction & Civil Engineering Academy and was designed to build confidence and capability through structured, practical learning that directly supports employee’s day-to-day responsibilities within the organisation.
Topics covered included essential Health & Safety principles, an introduction to how household water systems work, and practical tasks such as maintaining taps, valves, basins and toilet cisterns. Participants also explored how everyday bathroom and kitchen plumbing operates, including the key internal parts of toilets. The session then moved on to the basics of central heating, providing hands‑on experience with radiators and valves to give a clear and practical understanding of common plumbing systems found in most homes.
