Warrington & Vale Royal College celebrates 100% success rate for Access to Higher Education students

This year’s successful cohort will now take the next step in their educational journey’s, with many having secured places at a range of universities such as Edge Hill University, University of Chester, Liverpool John Moores University, University of Salford and more to study exciting subjects such as Nursing, Psychology, Midwifery, Social Work, and other health-related degrees.

An Access to HE diploma is an intensive one-year qualification designed for adults who aspire to go to university but do not currently hold the traditional level 3 qualifications required for entry. The course provides students with the academic knowledge, study skills, and confidence needed to progress into higher education.

One such student is Jessica Hayes, who has just completed her Level 3 Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery and is now preparing to continue her studies at Liverpool John Moores University where she will study Adult Nursing.
