TikTok Star Carl Scott and Project Youth Brings Anti-Knife Crime Message to Warrington & Vale Royal College

Warrington & Vale Royal College was honoured to host Carl Scott, also known as @Twosaduo on TikTok with his partner Karla, the dynamic duo behind Project Youth, for a powerful and inspiring event last week. With their mission to combat youth violence, gang involvement, and knife crime, Carl and Karla have become influential figures across the UK, gaining recognition in major media outlets for their tireless work.

Carl from Project Youth with Engineering students

While at the college, Carl bravely shared his personal experiences with gang activity and knife-related violence from a young age, bringing raw honesty and powerful insights to our students. His journey from those difficult experiences to becoming a force for change left a lasting impact on everyone. Through Project Youth, Carl is now working tirelessly to help at-risk youth and support families affected by these issues.

Another part of Carl’s work has been placing life-saving emergency bleed control kits in key locations across the UK. These kits are already making a difference, with lives saved in central London thanks to this initiative.

Katie Whiteman, Curriculum Manager: Engineering & Science, who joined her engineering students for the talk said, "We are incredibly grateful to Carl from Project Youth for his visit. His honest storytelling and actionable message left a lasting impact on our students and staff alike.”

A huge thank you to Carl and Project Youth for visiting our college and encouraging our students to reflect on the serious implications of knife crime.
