Apprenticeships Award Evening at Warrington & Vale Royal College

As part of its National Apprenticeship Week celebrations, Warrington & Vale Royal College proudly celebrated the achievements of its apprentices at an awards ceremony on Tuesday 11th February. The event was held in the college’s on-site restaurant, Buckley’s, and was a joyous occasion.

Awards presented during the evening included Apprentice of the Year, Most Improved Apprentice of the Year, and a series of Employer Champion awards. Congratulations to each of the winners, Ethan Davies, Harry Salkend, Jessica Mottram, Jordan Taffe, Kyle Hignett, and Katie Whaley, for their outstanding achievements.

Thanks from the college extend to the employers who took time out of their busy schedules to join the celebration, including Compass Minerals, KDE Ltd, and NHS Bridgewater Trust. Their ongoing support and strong partnerships are invaluable, helping to enhance the student experience by providing real-world opportunities, expert mentorship, and industry insights that ensure the college’s apprentices are well-equipped for their future careers. The college was delighted to present them each with an Employer Champion award.

Andy Atkin, Director of Quality & Apprenticeships at Warrington & Vale Royal College, said: “We are incredibly proud of our apprentices and all that they have achieved. It’s a privilege to celebrate their successes tonight, and as a Top 10 college nationally for apprenticeship achievement, we’re thrilled to see their hard work and dedication pay off. We are so excited to continue supporting these wonderful professionals as they take the next steps in their careers.”

The college is immensely proud of all its apprentices and is already looking forward to the next celebratory event. While Warrington & Vale Royal College celebrates the success of its students all year round, these special occasions are always a standout for students, families, and staff alike.
