Level 3 Art & Design student Gvena Naburga is one of Warrington & Vale Royal college’s exceptional young artists, joining the college in 2018 to follow her passion for photography.

When exploring her options, Gvena had interviews in many different colleges but felt that the welcoming atmosphere and our expert staff made the Warrington campus the perfect place to kickstart her career. When asked whether she would recommend the Level 3 Art & Design course, she said:

“Absolutely! You learn a lot about yourself on this course, and the tutors are always there for you. When you do art, it can take you many different ways- it does not have to be just drawing or painting.”

Gvena’s tutor, Becky Rogers, has been a fantastic support during her studies at the college, encouraging Gvena to get involved in events both at the college as part of her industry placement and with external companies. Culture Warrington is one such organisation that, having recognised Gvena’s exemplary work ethic and passion for creative arts, has hired her as an Assistant Venue Manager.
