Kadie previously worked as a Healthcare Assistant at Warrington Hospital and is looking to advance her career. With the help of our experienced and supportive tutors, Kadie feels confident and well-prepared for her next step towards university. The Access to HE course has equipped her with a range of academic study skills that have elevated her learning experience, such as critical thinking, effective communication, and time management.

Through our hands-on approach to teaching, Kadie has gained practical experience and knowledge that she can apply to her future studies and her career. One of the best things about studying at Warrington & Vale Royal College is the flexible timetable, which has allowed Kadie to seamlessly balance her studies alongside her busy family life and prior commitments.

One such commitment is Kadie’s involvement in The Warrington Christmas Appeal, a not for profit community project that works with local causes and organisations. Each year, the charity collects donations of toys and pyjamas for children, which are then gifted over the festive period to make sure no child is left out. Kadie says: “Last year, there were over 800 families in need of using the service and not enough gifts to go around. It means so much to the charity and the families for us to be collecting donations.”

If you would like to donate to this fantastic cause, you can do so in person at various drop off points in Warrington, including Warrington Foodbank and the Golden Square Shopping Centre Customer Service point. Click the button below to learn more about the appeal and to view drop off locations.

We are excited to see Kadie’s journey unfold and have no doubt that she will continue to thrive and achieve great things in her academic and personal pursuits.
