Clare Rushworth enrolled onto our Introduction to Carpentry & Joinery course after being fed up of asking someone else to do things for her around the house. Her goal is to learn new skills that will make her more independent.
Clare enrolled onto this course with a couple of her friends who felt it was a fun and productive way to spend more time together. Clare is completing this course to enhance her personal development. As a primary school teacher, Clare is an advocate for learning and believes that all adults should be continuing their education one way or another.
She says: “The tutors are great; they are very patient and understanding. I am having so much fun on this short course!” We hope to see Clare and her friends on more of our adult community learning courses soon!
