Turing Scheme

The Turing Scheme is the UK Government’s global programme for studying, working, and living abroad, offering incredible opportunities for personal and professional development for students. This year, Warrington & Vale Royal College has secured funding to send 50 lucky students to Sri Lanka for the opportunity of a lifetime!

What's the plan?

Get ready for an unforgettable two-week experience from Monday 8th June to Tuesday 23rd June! Students must be fully available during this period, with no other commitments.

You’ll take part in one of five exciting educational work placement themes: Healthcare, Childcare & Community, IT & Digital Education, Sport Coaching, or Construction. Beyond these placements, there’ll be time to explore the local culture, enjoy unique experiences and sightseeing opportunities, and of course, unwind with some well-earned free time on the beach!

The trip will be led by a senior member of staff and supported by five dedicated project leaders. There will be no cost for you to attend this trip!
