What is the course about?

This course is designed to develop knowledge and understanding of managing children’s behaviour. During the course you will look behaviour of children aged 0 to 7 years and how you can support children to manage their behaviour.

Why should I choose the course?

By completing the course, you will develop your knowledge of managing behaviour. These skills will be helpful when working with children in an early years setting or in a more casual setting such as your home.

You will be taught by qualified teachers who have experience working Health and Social Care and Early Years sector.

What will I learn?

During the course you will:

· Understand different types of challenging behaviour

· Learrn about reasons why children may behave in certain ways

· Learn about strategies to support behaviour

What will the course lead on to?

By attending this course, students will develop knowledge which would support progression to further qualifications and into relevant employment in the health and social care or education sectors.

Learners who complete this course could progress to:

· Introduction to autism

· Sensory play, craft ideas and outdoor play

· Introduction to working in schools
