What is the course about?
This course is designed to develop your epilation techniques to level 4 standards. This will increase your employability and confidence in using a variation of needle types, techniques, intensities, and treatment spacing. The course will develop your skills and knowledge on how to adapt techniques and treatments for different clients and skin imperfections. You will gain a deeper understanding of legislations referring to advanced epilation treatments and local byelaw requirements.
Why should I choose the course?
This course will develop and enhance your employability and develop your industry specialism within a fast-growing industry. The course is tailored to therapists within the industry, you will attend 2 full intense day’s training and carry out formative assessments. You will be expected to work independently to complete the relevant case studies and return for assessments, to broaden your knowledge of technical skills to enable you to advise and consult a variety of client needs. Your tutor will be available for a weekly 1 hour slot for the duration of the course and you will have the opportunity to book 1-1 tutorials to support your progress throughout the course.
You will be expected to source your own clients to enable you to gain the divers range of specialised assessments.
What will I learn?
You will develop your current level 3 epilation techniques and apply new skills to remove the following:
- Milia
- Skin tags
- Telangiectasia
- Spider naevi
- Blood spots.
You will be able to analyse and evaluate a variation of needle depths and pressure and adapt current intensity and duration of current flow. You will also cover needle selection and treatment area spacing.
What will the course lead on to?
This course can lead onto a Level 5 Advanced Certificate in Blemish Removal. It can also develop the skills and confidence required to enrol onto more advanced level 4 non aesthetic needling courses such as micropigmentation and skin needling.
