What is the course about?

This is a basic course designed to give you an introduction to the digital resources encountered when doing a course at a college.

Why should I choose the course?

This course will help to give you a kick start to begin your studies by identifying any gaps in your digital skills or software/hardware needed for your course. It will also help you to discover how to use the college systems.

What will I learn?

Course content will be tailored depending on your course, but the basics will cover:

  • College systems
  • Virtual learning platforms
  • Microsoft office basics
  • Organising your college work electronically
  • Keeping safe online.
