Join us at this business breakfast as we prepare to launch our first-ever steering group of sport professionals. 

This breakfast event will bring together local sport employers and partners to help shape the direction of our sport programmes and the future workforce in the area.

Come and learn how we support employers to upskill staff, develop new talent pipelines, and connect with students who are ready to begin their careers. You’ll also have the chance to tour our facilities and meet the team behind our sport provision.

Our partnership with CIMSPA

We’re proud to be an Enhanced Partner of CIMSPA (the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity). This is the sport sector’s equivalent of an “outstanding” quality mark; similar to being “Gas Safe” in other industries. We are the only FE college in the North West operating at this level, with only 20 colleges nationwide holding this standard. This partnership demonstrates that our sport courses deliver top‑tier, industry‑aligned training that meets the highest national benchmarks.

Addressing local skills gaps

We want to ensure our courses match the real needs of employers. That’s why we’re working with CIMSPA to develop a new Level 2 Sport course for adults launching in September. At this breakfast event, you’ll help us identify:

  • Local sport‑specific skills gaps
  • The qualifications and experience your future employees need
  • The industry standards that matter most in your organisation
