Amidst a competitive field, the college secured the coveted title of College Initiative of the Year in testament to the outstanding success of the college's Business Centre model and the team of Business & Partnership Managers working within it.
Rebecca Anderson-Moss, Assistant Principal: Partnerships & Growth at Warrington & Vale Royal College, was delighted to attend the awards ceremony. She says: "We had a fabulous night at the Aico Community Awards and are absolutely made up to have received this award in recognition of the amazing work carried out by the Business Partnerships Team, our brilliant curriculum teams and, of course, our amazing employer partners!"
One such employer partner is Aico themselves, who work closely with the college's electrical students to provide valuable insights and opportunities. The college extends a huge thank you to Aico for this continued partnership, their hospitality on the evening, and their recognition of the college's impressive initiative.
In an incredibly successful night for the college, representatives were also honoured to attend the Educate North Awards as a shortlisted finalist for the Business Employer Engagement Award. While extending heartfelt congratulations to the eventual winner, the college revels in the recognition of its ongoing dedication to fostering meaningful partnerships and driving excellence in education and employer engagement.
