The exhibition promises to be a celebration of creativity, featuring a diverse range of designs and projects created by the students as part of their HND qualification. In addition to their own work, the students aim to make this a truly community-centered event by giving young artists aged 7-12 a chance to exhibit their work.
The Junior Art Competition invites children to dream big and express their creativity by illustrating who they want to be when they grow up. Budding artists are encouraged to use any materials they love to create their masterpiece. The competition offers young people an opportunity to see their artwork featured in a professional exhibition at Warrington Youth Zone alongside the HND students’ work.
The theme of the competition, centered around future careers and aspirations, aligns with Warrington & Vale Royal College’s ethos of ‘Careers, Not Courses.’ This guiding principle inspired the HND students to create a project that encourages young participants to explore their dreams and ambitions, fostering creativity and career-focused thinking from an early age.
