Meet Ella Moremon, Level 3 Sport student who was recently scouted for a coaching position by the illustrious Warrington Wolves!
Ella, a former Cardinal Newman Catholic High School pupil, has always been a sports fan and for years, played for Warrington Wolves rugby club, starting off in their under 16’s team, working her way up to the ladies team until she was unfortunately injured. Still passionate about a career in sport, Ella started college with a new goal, taking her first step towards becoming an international rugby coach.
Alongside her course, Ella has been participating in an industry placement, leading PE lessons in the community for children with special needs. It was here that she impressed rugby scouts and was offered a coaching position back at her beloved club, Warrington Wolves. Now, Ella is delighted to be taking charge of fifteen budding rugby players, and making solid plans for a successful future in the dynamic sporting industry.
When asked about her college course, Ella says: “If you love sport, then you will love this course! It’s so varied and every day is different. It’s the best decision I ever made. One word of warning though, if you’re a football fan, be prepared for the banter!”
