Sustainability is a key priority for Warrington & Vale Royal College, and we are committed to raising awareness and the implementation of sustainable practices in all aspects of college life. Sustainability principles are embedded across college, and out sustainability action plan and committee are led by senior leaders to ensure that this remains a key focus.
Suitable candidates will be qualified to Level 3 in Motor Vehicle. Relevant, up to date, industry experience is also essential. An assessor qualification would be desirable, bit it is not essential for the role.
In addition, applicants should possess excellent teamwork and organisational skills, with an 'excellence' mind set.
You will either have a recognised teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification. Through the Taking teaching Further Programme, the college is able to recruit applicants with industry experience to retrain as FE teachers. The programme will provide funding for the cost of the teacher qualification and full mentor support, provided by the college.
