What is the course about?

We use maths in all aspects of everyday life, this may be helping with homework, understanding bills and bank statements or even using the numeracy skills you can learn to help others. With improved numeracy confidence and strategies to solve problems numbers will lose the mystic and become part of your everyday life skills.

Why should I choose the course?

Numeracy is essential to an individual’s ability to learn and to engage productively in society. Numeracy doesn’t necessarily mean complex skills, like different calculations or algebra, it rather means to be confident enough to use basic maths/numeracy in daily life situations.

What will I learn?

Maths is not just numbers it can also be thought of as organisational skills. Learn how to plan activities or visits for yourself or those who you live with. Learn how to use numeracy skills when completing jobs around the house or even that holiday of life time.
