What is the course about?
The course is designed to enable learners develop the digital skills they need for life, work, or further study. At level 1 the focus will be on skills for work with a secondary focus on skills for life.
What will I learn?
The content of the qualifications covers five skills areas which are:
- Using devices and handling information, including how to store information.
- Creating and editing digital documents
- Communicating online, such as via Social Media
- Transacting (buying) online activities
- Being responsible, safe and legal online

Are there any links with industry and university?
This course will help develop your skills, knowledge and behaviours in the IT area, suitable for anyone wanting to improve their computer skills

We have a team of staff dedicated to providing learning support if it is required and a welfare team that are on hand to offer guidance, support and help when needed.

What are the entry requirements?
This course is aimed at adults aged 19 and over. Basic keyboard skills are required
What are my funding options?
This course is free for all learners except those the reside in the Greater Manchester City Region (GMCA), then the fee is £183.
