What is the course about?
This course is designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of stress. During the course you will learn about the causes of stress and the effects stress can have on health. You will also learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of stress and ways of preventing or reducing stress.
Why should I choose the course?
By completing the course, you will develop awareness of stress, the causes of stress and healthy strategies for reducing the effects of stress. The course can also support progression to further qualifications and into relevant employment in the health and social care or education sectors.
You will be taught by qualified teachers who have experience of working in the Health and Social Care sector.
What will I learn?
During the course you will:
· Understand what is meant by stress
· Know the effects of stress
· Understand possible causes of stress
· Know ways to prevent and reduce the effects of stress.
What will the course lead on to?
Through completing this course, students will develop knowledge which would support progression to further qualifications and into relevant employment in the health and social care or education sectors.
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to:
· Level 2 Award Introduction to Neuroscience in Early Years
· Level 2 Award Preparation to work in Adult Social care
· Level 2 Certificate Dementia Care
