What is the course about?
This Introduction course will focus on the vocabulary needed to increase confidence in dealing with everyday situations in a Italian speaking environment. You will develop your knowledge of the language and learn about Italian culture.
Why should I choose the course?
The course is suitable for adults aged 19 and over who have little or no knowledge of Italian
What will I learn?
You will develop and practise basic Spanish reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills.
This will include:
- Personal Introductions, Polite Expressions and greetings
- How to order drinks and food in a bar and restaurants
- How to ask for directions
- The giving and receiving of directions when on foot or in a vehicle
- Booking accommodation for holidays and business
Throughout the course, you will gain understanding about how use Present Tense in Italian with commonly used verbs.
You will be informally assessed by the tutor, and you will also self-assess your weekly progress using an individual learning plan.
